Pet First Aid Workshop: Learn CPR & Emergency Care

Join Dr. Vaishali Joshi, Veterinarian and Owner of Wagnolia Veterinary Clinic, and Dr. Jayme Richardson, Veterinarian and Manager at Veterinary Specialty Center, for a crash course in canine first aid. You’ll learn how to recognize true emergencies, when to head to urgent care, and how to take immediate action when it matters most.

We’ll cover:

• Common emergency signs (toxins, trauma, collapse) 🚨

• CPR & choking response 🫁

• Heat exhaustion, wound care, and more 🐶

• What’s “urgent” vs. what can wait 🕒

• Normals to know: heart rate, temperature, breathing 💡

We’ll also walk you through tools from the Red Cross Pet First Aid app so you leave with practical, lifesaving knowledge.
